Health Care holds the most important data in the world which is the "records of the health of the people" that's why a good storage is needed for those important information that holds the life of the people. before when we inquire for the records of patients it takes us 15-30 minutes of waiting but nowadays in just a blink of an eye you can get your own copy of records printed.
Data Mining has helped the Health Care Industry so well because the health care services can attend to customers faster better and more accurate. they don't need to do it manually anymore, all they need is a desktop with a database software of the hospital with the records of patients.
People of the new generation cannot imagine a hospital without a computer nowadays unlike before when the piles of records are placed in a cabinet and then it will be checked 1 by 1 just to find 1 data of a person out of thousands or even millions of records.

As Healthcare Industry Gains Competitive Advantage Using IT
Information Technology $as defined by the Information Technology Association of America (ITAA), is "the study, design, development, implementation, support or management of computer-based information systems, particularly software applications and computer hardware." IT deals with the use of electronic computers and computer software to convert, store, protect, process, transmit, and securely retrieve information. In simple terms, IT is the use of computers and software to manage information. IT has been helpful to many and is rapidly progressing. Everyday many innovative ideas are produced with IT. As a result, people demand much of IT in industries.
Through the years, IT has been used by different industries to control costs and develop competitiveness. In the financial services industry, for example, the cash management account introduced in the early 1980s used information technology to blur the lines of banking and brokerage, resulting in sustained competitive advantage for the financial services organization that developed this product. To fulfill the needs of the healthcare delivery system, these new patient-centered networks must focus on providing appropriate access to information about patient/provider interactions at all points within the healthcare delivery system. The networks must enable appropriate routing of financial data; data about cost, clinical outcomes, and patient health needs; and all components of the medical record, including images such as X-rays. In addition, such networks must facilitate health maintenance through their ability to deliver educational information, and they must be able to support home health telemetry applications.

-- Patient Monitoring is for monitoring patients remotely and quickly receiving relevant patient information on a mobile device; and
-- Collaborative care uses Cisco's infrastructure and conferencing technologies to dynamically bring together the right people and patient information to improve time to treatment.

The next revolution in this field is not about medicine; it's about using information to drive patient-centric, safe and efficient care. Datamin Exercise!
My name is Joseph Lenoir Woltz and I am a 4th year student of De La Salle Canlubang taking up Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Management. When I first knew that I would be creating a blog I felt a bit uncomfortable because I would be posting things about myself which is not a thing that I do. I am a private person, only my close friends know what I am and things about me.
I enrolled in De La Salle Canlubang because I know that if I enroll in other schools such as La Salle Taft, Mapua I wouldn't have reached 4th year by now because of influences and vices. I am a person who can be easily influenced. I have vices but I make sure that I control it to the extent that it doesn't affect my studies. I also hope to graduate by this year.
I am a person who loves music I am a frustrated singer! I love singing even though singing doesn't love me. One day I dream of learning how to play saxophone too.
I don't care what people say about me at my back, all i know is I'll do everything I want to do anytime i want and wherever i want to. I can be friendly and wacky at times or all the time but I can get serious when things need to get serious.
Data Mining class is okay but we should have some activities not only pure discussions to maximize the 3 hours given and use it to maximize skills and for our brains to get to work.
